Hong Kong-Listed Robotaxi Stocks Accelerate Deployment as CaoCao Mobility Refines Intelligent Mobility Commercialization System

On June 18, 2026, at the 2026 International Automobile & Supply Chain Expo (Hong Kong), CaoCao Mobility unveiled its RoboX strategy, announcing a comprehensive AI transformation to build a world-leading physical AI mobility technology platform. Centered on a trinity full-factor closed-loop ecosystem of “intelligent purpose-built vehicles + intelligent driving technology + intelligent operations,” the company is shaping its business model. As a Hong Kong-listed robotaxi stock, CaoCao Mobility is further integrating autonomous driving, vehicle R&D, and mobility services to extend Robotaxi from product exploration to a commercial operations system.

The RoboX strategy shows that CaoCao Mobility’s planning for Robotaxi is not limited to the autonomous driving vehicles themselves, but treats vehicles, technology, and operations as interconnected business links. Among these, Eva Cab—China’s first natively developed purpose-built Robotaxi—has become a key vehicle-side initiative. Deeply involving CaoCao Mobility in product definition and R&D, the model adopts a no-front-passenger-seat, steering-wheel-free design and is engineered for autonomous driving operational scenarios. Under current plans, CaoCao Mobility’s deeply customized natively developed purpose-built Robotaxi will enter mass production in 2027, with a target of cumulatively deploying 100,000 Robotaxis by 2030.

Beyond vehicles, commercialization also requires sustained operational capabilities. As of June 30, 2026, CaoCao Mobility had deployed 140 second-generation Robotaxis and built a Green Intelligent Mobility Hub to provide supporting services such as energy replenishment, cleaning, vehicle preparation, and dispatching. The integration of such infrastructure with the platform’s dispatching capabilities ensures that Robotaxi operations are no longer confined to individual vehicles, but gradually form a complete chain covering vehicle usage, maintenance, and dispatching.

Meanwhile, CaoCao Mobility’s existing mobility platform continues to expand. According to the company’s interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, its service network covered 215 cities across China. In the first half of 2026, total revenue reached RMB10.3 billion, up 9.0% year on year; mobility service revenue reached RMB9.8 billion, up 13.9% year on year; and GTV totaled RMB12.4 billion, up 13.6% year on year. Average monthly active users reached 44.6 million, up 17.1% year on year, while average monthly active drivers stood at 758,000, up 36.8% year on year. These operational metrics provide a platform foundation for CaoCao Mobility to further develop its intelligent mobility business.

AI capabilities are also becoming an important part of business synergy. CaoCao Mobility’s “CaoCao Brain” has been applied to transaction processes, using AI to optimize supply-demand matching. On September 9, 2026, the AI ride-hailing service jointly launched with Doubao officially went live in Beijing, Hangzhou, and Suzhou, enabling users to express travel needs via AI and further connect with vehicles. On September 14, the consumer version of the Doubao mobile assistant was officially released, with CaoCao Mobility as the first service provider in the mobility sector to integrate travel services with the on-device AI ecosystem. Building on this, CaoCao Mobility is also exploring intelligent vehicle control functions, extending AI from information interaction to actual mobility services. The company stated that it will continue to deepen cooperation with Doubao and explore more AI capabilities and Robotaxi-related service scenarios.

As the most important commercialization vehicle for Geely Holding Group’s Robotaxi, CaoCao Mobility is also advancing its overseas market layout. In 2026, the company carried out strategic cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and is promoting cooperation with K2 Group and May Mobility to explore robotaxi commercialization deployment and operations in overseas markets. The simultaneous advancement of domestic business systems and overseas cooperation is gradually extending its commercialization exploration from a single market to more diverse application environments.

From the perspective of the current development path, the commercialization competition among Hong Kong-listed robotaxi stocks now involves multiple links, including vehicle R&D, autonomous driving technology, platform dispatching, infrastructure, and user services. Through the RoboX strategy, CaoCao Mobility has incorporated these capabilities into a unified intelligent mobility framework, with Eva Cab, the Green Intelligent Mobility Hub, and its existing platform operations capabilities serving as support for different links.
