CINCINNATI, OH — Card Chase LLC, a mobile sports card and Pokémon TCG shop serving the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus areas, has launched a free companion app that gives collectors two things rarely found together in the hobby: a live look at what’s actually in stock, and an honest, unpaid opinion on whether it’s worth ripping.
Card Chase operates out of a converted food truck, bringing sealed hobby boxes, blasters, mega boxes, and Pokémon TCG products directly to sporting events, card shows, and community festivals across Ohio rather than running a fixed storefront. The business sells sealed wax exclusively — no graded cards, no singles — with all purchases made in person at the truck.
The new Card Chase App, available free with no download or account required, is built around two features. The “On the Truck” tab shows collectors exactly what Card Chase currently has in stock and its price, updated as inventory changes from event to event. Every set the company carries also receives a Card Chase Score out of 10, along with a short written review, based on the odds of a meaningful hit, the strength of the set’s top cards, the overall rip experience, and the value at the price on the truck.
“Most collectors have no way to know if a box is actually worth the money until they’ve already opened it,” said Greg Little, Director of Marketing and Operations at Card Chase LLC. “We wanted an app that just tells people the truth about what they’re buying, whether that’s a $30 blaster or something bigger. If a box isn’t a great value, we say so.”
The app also includes an events tab so collectors can find Card Chase’s upcoming stops across Cincinnati, Dayton, and Columbus.
